Suki donated too much money to the school charitable effort this month (helping homeless animals) to afford one of these dog figurines. She asked Grace if she could have one of her two, choosing the one she thought would be Grace's least favorite. Grace happily agreed. Possibly one of my favorite moments of the week, but so illustrative of the kind, generous hearts these girls have.

Sweet Kate, having an uptick in her week after a tough start on the friendship front. So amazed at her resilience.

Maddie and Suki find library books.

We picked up her book club's selection for this month, she's so excited.

On the way home, we grabbed hot chocolate and stroopwaffel for everyone.

First day back.

After missing a connecting flight on the trip back from Jamaica, my birthday started at 3 am in Houston.

Cannot even tell you how happy I was to be able to come back and celebrate with the most fun girls ever. 

After gift opening, we played lots of party games, like Blind Man's Bluff, Duck Duck Goose, Sly Fox, etc. It was just so sweet and good.

Such silly times getting ready for cake and ice cream.

Truly the best gift of all was spending time with them, and them getting along so beautifully. Just so much love and so much fun.
