| This was SUCH A fun time with my dear friend Jess and her dog Piper. Right up until the point when Kate was in a room alone with the dog, and by her report Piper became interested in Kate's braid. Interested as in, it turns out Kate's hair looked just like a braided chew toy Piper loves at home. Jess and I didn't realize until this urgent, unearthly wail came from the next room -- we rushed in and found the dog with Kate's braid in her mouth, and Kate wasn't hurt, but was afraid "that dog is going to eat my head!" Poor Kate. Jess picked up Piper, I picked up Kate, and we kept them apart for a few minutes. And then everything was fine again, thank goodness. |
