This morning we went on a hike in the glen near our house.

We saw trees and rocks and the stream.

You'll notice that Elmo came with us on this trip. Granny just sent Elmo as a gift for Grace and she will not put it down at all.

Curled up with Dad after a long day.

I think I wore her out today after two trips to the inspection station, one to Wal Mart, one to the library. It was a busy time and the rain here didn't help our driving. She loved the drama of the downpour, though, and was mesmerized by the way it was pouring down the windshield. She also enjoyed my yelping when I had to stick my head out the window to reach the ticket at the inspection station :) Here, she and David are looking at the Sesame Street stickers I bought her for being so sweet and good natured during all of our travels.

Grace was so cute today playing with her stuffed animals I decided to make a wee video. Unfortunately, I forgot what a pain it is that I don't have any video editing software that can just flip the stupid thing on its side. Here is the tilt-your-head video, in all its glory -- it really is adorable, don't mind that crick in your neck.

Mad that she can't share my lunch yet -- it was too hot. She understood this, but was mad anyway, smacking the table and shouting "hot! hot!"

Grace loves playing with her train. This usually means tossing the cars around, pushing the frog's head to hear him sing, and getting me to hook up the cars of her choice (so she can toss them around again).
