We started strong with our fun cookie baking time after our chores and practicing were done. Cookie sheet readied, cookie scoop out, super cheaty cookie dough tub softened... and we started scooping to the delight of all gathered.
But then we lost power, again and again -- it would be on for a few minutes, off for a few minutes, and the girls began to despair that they would not be able to bake their cookies at all. I am not even kidding -- at one point, Suki was sobbing with disappointment on the doormat.
Thank the dear lord that the power stayed on long enough to bake up these little cookies though!
