I made these little tins and the stickers that I put inside, based on the things in which each girl is most interested. They took each one out so carefully and even cuddled the especially cute ones.
These gingerbread girl pancakes turned out looking like some kind of whipped creamed Venus of Willendorf (here) but the girls did not mind.
Waiting patiently to open their gifts. We really tried to be so slow and calm about this Christmas morning and it was our best yet. We didn't eat breakfast until 10, didn't start opening gifts until 11.
Kate and I Am A Bunny. We played with toys a bit and read books as we opened them so that we could slow down the pace of Christmas morning.
Suki could hardly believe she had her own working drill. There are exchangeable bits and it can go forward or in reverse, so she had plenty of fun learning how to get the screws in the board.
The girls made David a calendar, as they do every year for him to hang in his office. This year, they each wrapped it, first Kate's blue layer, then Suki's green layer, and finally Grace's red layer.
