Oh, we had the most wonderful plans for today. We'd been looking forward to them for weeks and everyone was so excited. But as many of you know, there is nothing like having children to teach you patience, flexibility and grace... and so instead of our fun, fantastic day I was headed off to an urgent care center with a girl in a lot of pain.
The urgent care center would only treat children over 13, and we wound up in the ER. Grace loved the electronic sensor they gave her and tried to do so well getting through her exam. She has double ear infections and was sent home with a whopping dose of antibiotics.
This photo was taken after I drove her 130 miles for a three hour nap. She felt terrible, but she got some much needed rest.
