This started as a sweet scene with two sisters sharing a toy -- Grace had it first and was very gracious when Suki joined her.
Suki started to get pretty enthusiastic about pulling the piano toward her.
Pretty soon it was all hers, to Grace's surprise.
I had to step in and Suki was soon settled with her puzzle.

In a big development Grace climbed onto the couch by herself for the first time today!
I had to take off her pants so her legs had enough freedom of movement to do it, though.
Pleased as punch.
So proud. The sad part was that tonight also saw the first time Grace tried standing on the couch. David and I were cleaning up the kitchen and saw her just as she started to stand -- she almost immediately lost her balance and hit the back of her head on the coffee table. There were a few tears and I hate that this was how she learned not to stand on a couch but I do think it made an impression on her.
She loves this bird.
