October 23, 2015

Kate continued with her new hairstyle requests. Today was the Rainbow Ladder.

Petting Buttons, the school bearded dragon.

Tire swing fun at the farm.

Friday adventures were a little muted because I'm under the weather. We went to a garden center and admired their wares.

Then we relaxed at the library.

Kate scored a free Highlights, by virtue of it being six months old.

We had some sweet talks with Bob, the custodian with a fascinating background who allowed us into the tower to wind the clock and ring the bell a couple weeks ago.

Grace is really loving this program, and I feel so lucky she's in it.

Watching some squabbling turkeys.

Today's hair -- I still can't get over her choosing anything but braids!

Pumpkin patch fun.

Kate's been experimenting with new hair styles!

This was today's.

Does this look the face of a girl bronchitis? Nope. But she sure -sounds- like a girl with bronchitis.

Kate rehearses her Pumpkin Book  Report -- she decorated a paper bag to look like the cover of an Amelia Bedelia book, and decorate a pumpkin to look like the character too, and then prepared her oral presentation cards on pieces of paper candy. LOVE that this was who she chose :)

Snap circuit happiness.

Suki is AWESOME at making macaroni and cheese now, handling everything except draining the pasta.

School with the primates after our makeover party.

First game of War!

Crafting a shoebox hotel with Suki.

Suki and Kathryn.

Kate and her milkweed. She threw the seeds all over so the monarchs would visit soon.

October 17, 2015

Today we went to visit Grandpa and Mary at their farm.

We had so much fun visiting the cows and chickens, and introducing Grandpa to Old Maid.

Car dancing at a stop sign (Till The World Ends -- who can keep from dancing to that song?).

Leia and Vader.

Grace and Dr. Jordan discuss South Africa and her future career in the Congo.

With Dina, who always throws a great party!
