At the karate demo and cake auction! Our spaghetti and pizza cakes brought in a total of $77 for the animal charity.

Then some easter egg dyeing. This year we went with a sort of metallic/marbled egg.

Today we went to visit some sweet horses and meet the incredible people who run the program Grace will attend this fall -- they do amazing work helping children while integrating the horses on this gorgeous farm.

Grace immediately trusted Lucy, and was put at ease in the most natural, easy way I ever could have imagined.

After we returned home, our dear neighbors flagged us down and delivered us the ice cream from a local shop they'd bought for us today. After that, a neighborhood friend came to deliver Easter treats. We are the luckiest.

I was pranked by a spider on my pillow and a set of pom-poms in my shoe to simulate a dead mouse.  I was instructed to go to the store to buy 3D paint and have responded in a loud clear voice to a sign that informed me that our toilet now responded to voice commands. I had an invisible smudge on my nose, and was frequently misdirected by all three girls. They had such a fun day of pranks -- we finished it with a silly dinner of chicken nuggets and pancakes :)
