When Grace got to Grandma's house, she made a beeline for the Happy Birthday bag and climbe on the couch with it. We explained to her that even if you anticipate a gift is for you, you must wait for the giver to actually -give- it. And then Suki and Kate wanted to help Aunt Melissa, Calynn and Liam give the gift, which led to this procession.

Grace has such an odd reaction to dessert, she was happy seeing the cupcakes, happy making her wish, happy blowing out the candle, and then... something fell apart. I have no idea what happened.
The rest of our group ate the delicious cupcakes and used the plates as hats.

Suki went in to Children's Hospital for allergy testing. Her pediatrician was hoping it would help solve the problem of her persistent cough (which is thankfully gone now).
As you know, Suki's red hot rage can come out at the most unexpected times at a doctor's office. A vision test sent her right over the edge a few months ago. Sixteen point allergy testing produced nothing. I will never understand it, but I was so glad she did so great.
It turns out Suki does have an allergy -- to dogs. She scored at a level 5 out of 10, so it's a moderate allergy.
Kate had a great time with David, there was even a special ice cream treat after lunch.
