Today we went to the park with Gina and Joseph and Tammy and Ruairi. Grace gave the swings another try.

Here she is swinging with Ruairi. Can you believe the unbridled enthusiasm these two show to be playing in the sun?

She practiced standing up at the benches.

Afterward she played at our neighbors, the Laprelles, who have set up a swing for her -- so sweet of them!

I swear I only left for a minute to answer the phone. When I came back, I could hear Grace was annoyed, but couldn't see her. In that minute, she'd managed to work her way entirely into the coffee table for the first time. As you can see, she was able to get herself out on her own -- that's got to be good, right?

This mobility thing may be overrated... Grace has been pulling herself up on this table a -lot- today. The website she likes best is this one, with all of the pictures of herself and especially her dad.

Grace loves looking through this calendar at all of the pictures of the babies. Some seem to set her off more than others, though -- some she will smile at, others incite shouting. It's always the same babies that provoke the same reactions, but for no reason apparent to us. She really makes us laugh every day.

Happy Easter!

We had such a fun day today! The weather was beautiful and this morning we went on a walk up to the Glen. Next time we'll take our camera, but today's photos start with our afternoon trip to the hair salon.

Here's Grace with Dad pre-haircut. The ladies at the salon just loved Grace.

We came back and dad gave Grace some of his vanilla ice cream before her nap.

What a funny face! It's the one she makes when she's excited about what she's eating, all scrunched up and hopping up and down.

Later on we took an impromptu trip to Applebee's -- Grace got a balloon and some chicken tenders and a lot of admirers stopping by our table. She went to bed a little late but it was worth it -- it was really a wonderful day.
