October 31, 2010

A little bat, a little bee, and a butterfly princess.

This is the third year in a row we've had this costume in the rotation. Click here to see how Grace wore it, see here for Suki.

Grace, with school friends Mari and Nina.

Nina, Maya (another school friend), Grace and Suki, who cannot resist being out of a photo.

Maya, Nina, Mari, Grace and Suki before the neighborhood Halloween parade.

Kate gets a quick cuddle.

David and his little bee before the parade begins.

Marching!

The five of us afterward.

My girls and me.

This mailbox wearer had lots of fun toppling over for comedic effect.

She also was very sweet about sharing her costume.

As you can see, there was a fair bit of sharing after the parade.

What a sweet hug.

After dinner we went out for trick or treating!

As is our tradition, David dashed into our house so that our place could be the last stop for the trick or treating. Then the girls surveyed their loot.

They ate a few pieces and then were off to bed. What a fun Halloween!

October 30, 2010

One of the laziest days at home that there ever was.

October 29, 2010

We got to play with our friend Sebastien today!

Some cuddles before goodbye.

Suki and Kate before Suki's Halloween party at school.

No one wears costumes to preschool or kindergarten here, so we just dressed in festivewear.

Going to get Suki after her party!

Her spooky ghost face painting.

And her fabulous bat hat.

Even a spooky painting! Suki and Grace both enjoyed some cookie decorating at their parties, too.

Such sweet sisters.
